A few fun pictures from a gingerbread house making get-together. First is of all of us that made one. I like how different they all looked.
Here’s mine, precariously perched on the edge of the table!
I love Kristin’s. She made a reindeer!! And a stocking walkway and a snowman :-D
Kara’s turned out great once she was able to keep it from caving in. I really liked her brick walls and sprinkle trees (they sort of blend in).
This is Ashley's. I think it looks patriotic! :)
Lael’s was just impressive. She’s had some GB decorating experience. Her wreath with the bow is fantastic!
This is Sarah’s. Kara’s neighbor. I love her little car and snowman she made.
More pics of mine, I kind of liked my “wood pile with snow” :).
Today, I also got to paint some pottery with some friends. It was a dreary day, but in the middle of painting God reminded us of his promise and faithfulness with a beautiful rainbow. I could see the whole thing, from one end to the other, and it was brilliant. The picture does not do it justice.
Luke 2:9--And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear.
12 Days to Christmas!
